Anoush Abrar & Aimée Hoving born in 1976 in Tehran, Iran (Anoush) and in 1978 in Ottignies, Belgium, (Aimée) they live and work between London, Lausanne and Geneva. They met at ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne) and started to work as a team together as Anoush & Aimée from 2004 to 2012. In 2008 they have started to exhibit with Laleh June Galerie. And have exhibited Swiss and internationally US and Asia. Shooting fashion editorial for magazines such as W, French and
Japanese Vogue, Arena Hommes Plus, and L'Officiel, which was recognised
with a show at 2011 International Festival of Fashion Photography in Cannes. Anoush & Aimée started working together as a team in 2004 after graduating from art school; ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne). Their collaboration attracted international attention.
Their work has been exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide, they've taken part in countless photographic competitions — including Festival des Art de la Mode in Hyeres in 2003, Art + Commerce 2004 Festival of Emerging Photographers and ReGeneration, 50 Photographers of Tomorrow, 2005-2025.
